How long does bowling take for 2? ›

On average, it takes 10 minutes per person to bowl a single game. If you have a group of 5-6 people, it would, for example take them approximately 50-60 minutes to complete ONE game. Why do I need rental shoes? Bowling shoes are a necessity for both adults and children!

How many people fit on each lane? A maximum of 6 people may be assigned to a single lane. So, for example, if you have between 7-12 people in your group, you will receive 2 lanes.

How many people can you fit on a lane? We recommend a maximum of six people to a lane, this is due to available seating, space and time taken while bowling.

Teams consist of four players with no gender rule in place. Your team can have a maximum of 8 players on the roster. Teams can bowl four people (4) the first game and then bowl a new set of players the following game.

A good practice plan is to schedule five sessions in spaced intervals. If time and budget matters prohibit more than one practice per week, use the time to work on some physical game keys and some time on shot making, alignment, spares, or perhaps on using your various bowling ball equipment.

A single person playing a round of bowling could get through their game pretty quickly within half an hour. However, if there are multiple people taking turns, the game can last much longer. This can take an hour or even over an hour to finish.

You'll need to rent or bring your own bowling ball, and you'll be expected to put on a pair of those ultra-fashionable bowling shoes. Most places provide the shoes when you pay for a game, and some serious bowlers bring their own, but regardless, you aren't allowed to wear “street shoes” while you bowl.

Respect other bowlers' personal space: When you're waiting your turn to bowl, be sure to give the person on the lane next to you plenty of room to take their shot. Stay off the approach while they're bowling, avoid standing too close, and be mindful of your surroundings.

Bowling shoes are required, bring your own socks. We recommend accounting for 4-6 people per lane, as that works best to get though a game (10 frames of bowling) in an hour.
